Occasions Mini Catalog

Ok, so I haven't been exactly good about showing you the new items the instant they come out.  I'm trying to get there!  Today, I'm going to cover the new Occasions Mini Catalog, which is current through April 30, 2012.

Here's a link to the catalog:

We have a fabulous new hostess stamp set, called Up in the Air (#122475 - pg. 5), which I can't wait to try out.  I get it in next week's order!

This Occasions Mini is great - even superb this time around.  Want to know why?  We're now offering Framelit & Edgelit dies, to use in our exclusive Big Shot from Sizzix.  Similar products have been out for a while, but where can you actually find these Framelits, which coordinate with stamp sets?  Why, Stampin' Up!, of course!  Here are some great card swaps I received at Leadership last month, that use these new Framelits/Edgelits, and some of the stamps that coordinate!:

Sale-A-Bration for New Demonstrators!

So maybe you're reading my Sale-A-Bration (SAB) post from yesterday, and think, "Eh, Stampin' Up! could do better on their rewards during Sale-A-Bration".  Well, you'd be absolutely right!

Stampin' Up! has done it again.  Not only can you join to become a Demonstrator for $125.00 (That's $50 off the normal, great start-up price!), if you join during this time of year, you'll get FREE Designer Series Paper (DSP) or a digital download every month for the rest of 2012.  So....you do know you should sign up in February, right?  That's one whole extra month of downloads free!!

Our DSP is great - double-sided, acid-free, 12x12" paper.  Great for any paper crafting need!

Feel more in a digital mood?  Your digital download can be used in your copy of My Digital Studio.  (See Friday - 2/3/12's MDS blog post I created - it tells you how you can get your own 30-Day Free Trial!)

Like both and can't decide between the two?  Guess what?!?!  You can actually switch back and forth between receiving DSP one month, and a digital download the next.  Do it in any combination you like!

How's that for fabulous?

Are you still telling yourself, "Oh, I could never sell the product, and host workshops, etc."?  Become an Independent Demonstrator for the discount.  Or for the fabulous fun and community you'll experience meeting more people with your same interests.  You get fabulous resources through the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Website, to use on projects for years to come.  If that's not enough, you also get a free monthly subscription to Stampin' Success, a demonstrator exclusive magazine that you cannot buy.  And, there's always Stampin' Connection, a great online social tool for asking questions and getting tons of project ideas from fellow demonstrators in your exact shoes.  We have the business, discount, hobbist, and the seasonal demonstrators all in one exclusive spot!

Contact me today to talk over becoming a demonstrator and part of my downline!

Remember, you don't have to become a demonstrator to enjoy the benefits of Stampin' Up!  (I did last year during Sale-A-Bration though, and I have no regrets!)

Have a fabulous stamping day!

I Am Positively Late Night Stampers 1000th member!

I posted this on my Stampin' Up! blog yesterday during lunch....but forgot to update this blog site until today's lunch!

~~~~~~~~
I am continuing my regular blog posts starting tonight, with the first scheduled one for this month.  However, I have some awesome news, and couldn't wait to share it, so I thought I'd toss in this quick post on my lunch break!
I am Positively Late Night Stampers' 1000th member on Stampin' Connection!!!!
What does this mean?
Stampin' Connection is an awesome social website for Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrators to use and share in the course of their business.  We have the ability to post our creations online to share.  One of the neatest aspects about this is that there's an option to type in the name of a certain stamp set, embellishment, or color, and then we get access to 100s, if not 1,000s of creations people have made using those specific products.
Anyways, several of us have created groups for their downline members within Stampin' Up!, or for certain similarities or specialities that we would like to share.  I've been seeing the Positively Late Night Stampers making lots of posts lately, saying that once they reach their 1,000th member, they would like their members to send that person a card.  Well ----- I'm that person!  :)  I joined the group in the off chance I might get close to 1,000 (never dreaming it would actually happen), but mainly so I could send that 1,000th member a card - and be part of a neat and special group that seems to care for its members, and really want to help them out in their Stampin' Up! business.
So, shortly, I'll have tons more fodder for blog postings to share with you guys.  How exciting is that!  Plus, I don't normally get a lot of mail (unless you include all the junk mail offers I just can't seem to get my name off of), so this'll be a really special surprising treat over the next few weeks, and some members send me a card through the mail.
I'm so looking forward to all the ideas, and all the new friend connections I'll be making with this reward!
Thanks to Sherrill Graff, and all the Positively Late Night Stampers for making this happen!
Happy Stamping!
Misty
My Digital Studio (MDS) Offer
Ok, so maybe I got behind in blogging for January, but I can more than make up for blog posts in February - by offering 2 a day for a while!  There's so many great new deals and offers that Stampin' Up! is presenting us with this time of year, and I absolutely cannot wait to share them all with you.
The first:Stampin' Up! is now giving everyone a FREE 30-day trial of My Digital Studio (MDS)!  You read me right - FREE!
How do you redeem this great offer?  From this page, go to the "Products" tab at the top of the page, and click once, to access the drop-down menu.  Then, click on "Shop Now", and a new link will open up, giving you access to Stampin' Up!'s online store.  On the right hand side of the window that pops up, you'll see an icon for "MDS free trial".  Click to get started!  (This is item #129600 in the online store.)
Here's what Stampin' Up! says to do once you try the program, and want to buy it:
What do you do once you try it and like it?Once the 30-day free trial period is over, you can purchase the downloadable or disc version of the software to continue using it. You'll simply open up the trial version you already have on your computer, and will be prompted to enter the product registration key you received after purchasing the software. (You'll receive this key via e-mail if you purchase the downloadable version, and you'll find it along with your shipped software if you purchase the disc version.)
~~~~~~

Now for some eye candy of something made through My Digital Studio (MDS):

This birthday card I received from Stampin' Up! for my birthday in July last year.  It's a printed MDS birthday card, except for the rhinestone jewels they added to the front.  You wouldn't know it in person though.  Every single person I showed this card to, as well as myself, had to touch the card to experience for themselves that it was all one printed layer.

~~~~~~
My Digital Studio is great for those crafty individual people, that just can't see buying every paper, stamp, embellishment, etc. that Stampin' Up! has to offer right now, whether because of money constraints, time, skill, or even storage space.  The FREE trial we receive comes with a myriad of starter colors, stamp sets, Designer Series Papers, embellishments, etc., that all coordinate with Stampin' Up!'s current product lines.  It offers everything a client could want in a digital photo shop type program, with so many more features than I've ever experienced in print shop programs before.  Fade out colors to coordinate perfectly with the shirt your grandbaby is wearing in your newest scrapbook page.  Enlarge ribbon sizes to create the perfect bow on the front of your photo card.
Don't have a good color printer at home?  That's ok, send your project off to Stampin' Up!, and they can print out photo books, cards, calendars, scrapbook pages, etc. for you.  Do you have a 12x12" (or other) printer at home that can meet all your printing needs at home?  Feel free to print your projects and send them to their intended recipients straight away!
~~~~~~~~

Want to learn more about MDS and how to use it?  RSVP for my class on MDS, taking place Monday, 2/20/12, 6:30-8 pm.  Bring your own laptop with your FREE MDS version loaded on it, or look over my shoulder to see what all you can do with this product.

You can also host a workshop, where we'll show everyone how to use this great digital program!  (I have great Sale-A-Bration news in the next posting that will make your hostess experience even more grand!)

Can't make the class, or want to learn more about MDS one-on-one?  Contact me today, and we'll set something up!

Happy Stamping!Misty

Ack! Time has flown by!

Ack!  Time has just completely flown by!  So, obviously, I didn't meet my New Year's resolution of blogging every day.  And not as an excuse, but just as an explanation of where some of my time has gone, I experienced a hospital stay, a great Stampin' Up! Leadership & Regionals convention, and then 75+ hour (accounting) work weeks all during January.

Now, the hospital trip I could have completely gone without, needless to say.  I'm feeling much better now, and even though the doctor says it'll take 2-3 months to get back all my energy and for my lungs to heal completely, I am feeling MUCH better!  (Also, I had no energy to begin with...so the loss of what little I had isn't too large of a change.)  However, the Stampin' Up! events I ended up attending did boo-koos to re-energize me in the way of growing my Stampin' Up! business, and I felt so privileged to attend and experience what all they had to offer us demonstrators.  I'll do my best to start incorporating all I learned, and re-reading all of my notes and sharing with everyone the great tips and tricks they presented us, as well as some really awesome swaps I received!  Who knew there were THAT many talented ladies (and a some men!) out there!  For the most part, the entire experience was wonderful, and everyone was so kind, and I don't think I'll ever forget a moment about it.  Several of my upline's group, the South Texas Big Shots were there, and I hope to post all my pictures with this great group of ladies, as well as their uplines/downlines, and fellow demonstrator friends soon.

For now, I'll leave you with some eye candy I started off in a blog never finished at the beginning of January.  It includes some great Christmas swap cards I received, from some really talented ladies.  I LOVE Christmas, and making cards for that time of year is my absolute favorite thing, I think, in starting off this journey with Stampin' Up!.  I promise to get my camera to cooperate soon, and post some more relevant Valentine's Day and Spring cards soon.  :)

Happy Stamping!
Misty

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I don't know about everyone else, but I just can't seem to let go of Christmas just yet.  I love this time of year!  I did actually send out all homeade, Stampin' Up! Christmas cards this year, and I'm so proud of myself.  :)  I did wipe out my entire stock I had, though, so I'm raring and ready to start creating new ones as soon as I get some free time.  Tell me what you think about all of these holiday card swaps I received, and if I should add some of them to my crafting stockpile for 2012.
This card was crafted by Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Nyla Kelley.  Nyla does a fabulous job of crafting the neatest holiday items.  This card had a little slot inside, and she gave every swap recipient a neat treat of hot cocoa mix inside.  How fabulous!
On her card, I spy the following products:Greeting Card Kids stamp set (#119887 - pg. 34 of the 2011-2012 IBC)
Bells & Boughs stamp set (#120831 - pg. 43)
Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (#115370 - pg. 157)
Frame, Oval Scallop Bigz Die (#114521 - pg. 222)
Ovals Originals Die (#114525 - pg. 220)
Modern Label Punch (#119849 - pg. 209)
~~~~~~~~

This card is brought to you by my upline, Judy Garza.

On her card, I spy the following products:
Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty DSP - #124004  (this was from the 2011 Holiday Mini)
Christmas Lodge Stamp Set (#123767 - pg. 29 of the Holiday Mini)
Mini Jingle Bells (#124116 - pg. 30)

~~~~~~~~~~
This card was actually our November 2011 Group Gathering card  we got to make and take home with us.  Created by Judy Garza, my upline, I just absolutely love it!  It looks like a ton of work, but was actually really easy to make!  Want to create it for your Christmas next year?  Contact me, and we'll get a start now.
Happy Stamping,
Misty Kulik
