A New Start for 2012...

Well, I realize I got VERY behind on blogging for 2011, after Halloween.  I had gotten so good at it, and then all heck seemed to break loose and I felt overwhelmed completely.  First, Stampin' Up! no longer coordinated with Facebook, to bring you updated notices that I had added a new blog - a problem they still haven't fixed to my knowledge.  That threw me for a loop.  Then, my last living grandfather passed away, and it was a blur and flurry to try and help my father take care of things so he wouldn't stress out so much.  Papaw will be missed for sure!  Last, but not least, my paid work became almost unbearably busy right at the start of the already busy holiday season, and something had to give....blogging.

So, I have decided for 2012, I'm going to give myself a "Julie & Julia" type challenge -- One blog posted for every day of the year.  Seeing as how January is the worst month of the year on record for me at my accounting job, blogging in advance is going to be key!  I expect I'll be working late and weekends non-stop throughout the month, and not have too much time for anything else.  Not to mention that Leadership 2012 for Stampin' Up! will be taking place in San Antonio, and I actually requested days off to go.  I'm so excited!  Now, the blogs that are posted might not always have pictures, and might be short, but I'm going to challenge myself to get it done!  :)

Another exciting addition to my blogging - I will soon open an Etsy site, a Facebook page for my Stampin' Up! creations, and then have started blogging on another more well-known website.  So far, my Stampin' Up! blog has had visitors, but no buyers.  I would love to be able to sell card creations and products I've made with all that Stampin' Up! has to offer - and for that, expansion to a new website is key!  The more people that are introduced to Stampin' Up!, the more fun I can have sharing with them!

(This is my new blog site) - so please, for earlier posts, check out my Stampin' Up! exclusive website at:

And now, to leave you with a bit 'o blog candy for my first day back:

Pennant Parade 01 - Kulik

It's hard to tell in the picture, but there is a set of three trees in the middle, each bone-folded down their middle, and then glued together where they pop up after being taken out of the envelope, making the card 3D.
